What is it about this movie this movie that makes so many people (mainly girls) love it so much? I have yet to read one good review of it! It only got 49% on Rotten Tomatoes and only averages about 56% in 37 reviews. Now I know you can’t only go by the reviews but it seems unlikely that there all wrong? It seems to me to be another case of the film being made which ticks all the boxes for girls and therefore they love it, regardless of the quality of the end product. Is this the case?
Matthew Perry plays a family man whose life is thrown into disarray when he finds that he's mysteriously reverted back to the age of 17 (in the form of High School Musical's Zac Efron) in this New Line Cinema comedy.
Hijinks ensue as the teen enlists in the same school as his children so that he can keep an eye on them. Knocked Up's Leslie Mann co-stars.

Reading the crew list, it feels like you’re strolling down the “action-adventure” aisle at Blockbuster: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Steve Austin and on and on. But on the set of the currently-filming flick “The Expendables,” nobody is as pumped-up as Terry Crews.
“It is the first time you have all these stars in one flick,” Crews told us recently, just before leaving for Brazil to shoot the film. “There is going to be a cameo by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dolph Lungren is coming back. Stallone is directing it, writing it. It is awesome, man. I am just privileged and honored to be a part of it, and I am telling you it is going to be great.”
“We are basically a group of guys who are trying to free this country from this South American dictator,” the former “Idiocracy” president told us of the film’s plot. “And it is all blood and guts. It’s the he-manness of everything!”
Yes, that’s right – the burly star just coined a word based on “He-Man.” And to hear him tell it, this is going to be the manliest flick ever made – in fact, there are barely going to be any women glimpsed on screen.
“Very few,” he laughed, perhaps sounding the death-knoll for recently-cast Brittany Murphy. “And the ones there are, we shoot them. There are a lot of women getting shot in this flick.”
“You remember in ‘Predator,’ where it had all the guys in it?” he said, comparing the film’s macho set to a Schwarzenegger classic. “This flick has Randy Coutore, the mixed-martial artist in it. I mean dude, it can’t get more bad-ass than this. It is impossible!”
Crews told us that a cast like “Expendables” could only unite for a legend like Stallone. “He lets everybody create their own character; he just gives you the template,” explained the actor. “He was like ‘Dude your character, Hale Caesar, I want you to make it. I want you to give him his background. I want you to give him what he is.’ I’m studying [weaponry] and going forward in it and I am loving it…There are a lot of big personalities, big egos in this thing, but it is great. I think it’s going to be wonderful for the fans.”
As for his character, Crews revealed: “I’m the weapons expert. I play a guy named Hale Caesar, and I am all about my weapons.” With a grin, he added: “I’ve got special bullets for your ass.”
Which men on a mission flick are you most eager to see: “The Expendables” or “Inglourious Basterds”?
Exciting news, Twilighters! USA Today just published the first official photo of the Quileute werewolf pack from “New Moon.” The four actors featured in the photo are Chaske Spencer (Sam), Alex Meraz (Paul), Kiowa Gordon (Embry) and Bronson Pelletier (Jared) — all have some Native American heritage. Though we got a glimpse of a few of Jacob’s friends in the first flick, the characters will have a much bigger role in the sequel, as Bella gets very close to Jacob after Edward’s departure.
Twilighters everywhere were really excited about the casting of the Quileutes a few months ago — obviously, the studio went for authenticity with this group of little-known actors who all have some Native American heritage. Tons of fan sites did some digging right away and found some pictures of Chaske, Alex, Kiowa and Bronson. But the boys look a lot different in this new official picture than they did back then. They’ve clearly been cleaned up a bit — and it’s obvious they’ve been working out to live up to their buff descriptions in the books.
But while every fan was thrilled with the casting since it meant the film would be striving for legitimacy rather than just trying to get big names (i.e. Vanessa Hudgens), this particular fan — who is Native American — is slightly confused. The guys all look hot. But I have to be honest: They just … don’t look very Native American anymore. They look vaguely Spanish. What do you guys think?
“The Twilight Saga: New Moon” will be released on November 20. In the meantime, weigh in with your thoughts.

“We wanted to make the action and adventure look real,” Ferrell related about how the flick differs from the 1974 television series. When “Land of the Lost” hits theaters June 5, it’ll be getting a high-octane shot of humor courtesy of Ferrell and co-star Danny McBride and although the tone will change slightly from its original incarnation, Ferrell says he’s careful to maintain the franchise’s spirit.
Take a gander at his thoughts below and then click here to watch our full interview with Will Ferrell and Danny McBride.

The Foot Fist Way director Jody Hill takes the helm for this Seth Rogen comedy concerning an ambitious mall cop who contends with a seasoned detective to bust an elusive flasher. Make a wrong move at Forest Ridge Mall, and you'll have to answer to no-nonsense security head Ronnie Barnhardt (Rogen). Ronnie sees skateboarders as the blight of society, and frankly who doesn't.
I have a few questions I hope you can help me out with. First, what was the name of Ben's fat friend from Knocked Up. He seemed very familar to me. This second question has nothing to to with that movie. I will give you a few details from a movie and please try to tell me what the name of that movie was called. It was about this police officer that was really good and got moved to a town that was supposed to be perfect. He found problems that started occuring and people were being murdered everywhere. When he told everyone what was going on, no one believed him because they were all part of the group that was killing everyone. Even his best friend was part of the group. I hope you can help me out and thanks. Thanks so much. You were right about everything.
