“We wanted to make the action and adventure look real,” Ferrell related about how the flick differs from the 1974 television series. When “Land of the Lost” hits theaters June 5, it’ll be getting a high-octane shot of humor courtesy of Ferrell and co-star Danny McBride and although the tone will change slightly from its original incarnation, Ferrell says he’s careful to maintain the franchise’s spirit.
